Went out in the rain for two hours around Lewisham Way canvassing for cllr Darren Johnson and would be councillors Romayne Phoenix and Dean Walton. Great response, first person I talked to was very Jamaica, he talked to me about socialism, living on the land and his support for the Party. Great....Darren is at present the only Green councillor in London, 500 plus are standing in the city....if you want to help ring him on 020 8694 9524.
Off to Kentish Town later to do some more...canvassing gets Greens elected and spreads the word..very important action given environmental crisis and Labour's move to the right!
