(public meeting being held at 7pm on Wednesday 18th June at the
Christchurch Centre, 46 Reading Road, Henley)
Green Principal Speaker Derek Wall will tomorrow (18 June) join the
Green Party's Henley by-election candidate Mark Stevenson while
campaigning in the Oxford town, and will then speak at an open public
meeting in support of Mark's campaign.
Dr. Wall said
"Mark has shown himself to be a tireless campaigner for local issues
and I am confident that he is the right man for Henley.
"This by-election could be a boost for both Henley and the Oxfordshire
Greens. Mark's local knowledge and activism has seen him campaign on
protecting the area's green belt, post offices, farmers' markets,
local shops and public services. These are all subjects central to
both the Henley people's concerns and also Green Party policy."
Mr Stevenson added
"This meeting will give people a really great opportunity to find out
more about me and Green Party policies. I'm honoured to be joined by
Derek Wall, the Green Principal Speaker, who has come to both speak at
the meeting and also to join the Henley Greens' campaigning around the
area."
