SUNDAY 13TH DECEMBER
SOLIDARITY WITH HARROW MOSQUE Demonstration from 12 noon outside Harrow Civic Centre, on the pavement opposite the Mosque. Harrow and Wealdstone Tube/Overground. The demonstration is in opposition to the anti-Mosque demonstration organised by Stop the Islamisation of Europe (SIOE) and is organised by Brent and Harrow Unite Against Fascism. The SIOE had to abandon their demonstration at the same venue on September 11th because of the sheer numerical superiority of Harrow people of all races and religions who came out to defend the Mosque. We need to do the same again this Sunday.
DEMONSTRATE AGAINST TZIPI LIVNI On the same day there is an alert for a demonstration against Tzipi Livni, former Foreign Minister of Israel, who spear-headed the assault on Gaza almost a year ago. She is due to address a meeting of the Jewish National Fund in North London. The exact venue has still not been revealed but a demonstration has been called from 10am. We will post further information about the venue on www.wembleymatters.blogspot.com as soon as we have it.
