There is a long story to be told of the overlap between anarchist greens and the NUM, the guy I suppose who embodies this the most is the great Dave Douglas....I am very suspicious that the clean coal argument will simply be used to justify more giant coal powered power stations but this is certainly a pretty important area to debate.

Its fair to say everyone involved in this event stands for revolutionery change and ecology....looks like a very interesting and important meeting.

I guess I would argue strongly for a post coal society....

In the interests of leaving time for debate, comrades urged to just take half hour food break at this point and save their main meal until 5-30 at the end of the conference, there are numerous eating places and cafes within five minutes walk of the venue in the Bigg Market. We advise taking packed lunch for the mid day break.
