Wisdom in Nature events advertised


Just got notice of some events from Wisdom in Nature, missed off the first two cos too late and I missed them because of my broadband problems...while I am not a Muslim, WIN the eco-Islam group are one of my favourite environmental networks, well worth finding out more about.


PUBLIC MEETING - “WHY WE SHOULD END DOMESTIC FLIGHTS”

4) CAMP FOR CLIMATE ACTION 2010
19-25 August, Edinburgh

Our sustainable and collectively organised basecamp will give you the chance to learn, train up, and meet like minded individuals. Previous Climate Camps have included workshops on Consensus Decision Making, Art and Activism, and Muslims and the Climate Movement.

This Climate Camp will focus on Direct Action against RBS for funding climate change. It will include direct action, training, and a day of action.

5) LONDON PERMACULTURE FESTIVAL

The Festival aims to bring together all groups directly or indirectly related to Permaculture and Transition in and around London. Packed throughout the day with back to back engaging workshops, inspiring films, interactive practical demonstrations, expert talks, and relaxed networking. Helping Londoners to engage with their local activist projects, community gardens & Transition Town groups throughout the city.
