The Slits 'Shoplifting'
I am sad that Ari Up has died, I am also angry that given our present government's assault on the poorest a lot of people are going to be forced into crime.
A bit ironic, nonetheless, that the heir to a vastly wealthy German media empire was singing about shoplifting from your local corner shop trying to get by...
However sad she is no longer with us and The Slits were rather good if you like a bit of punk.
