First Planning Meeting for 2010!
Dear Tar Sands Campaigners,
We hope that you have all had a wonderful time over the holidays. A lot of tar sands activities went down in Copenhagen and in the UK at the end of 2009 and we will be sending an update on all those shenanigans. Looking ahead to 2010 we would like to invite you to an event organised by London Rising Tide to discuss what we might do this year to keep the UK Tar Sands Campaign moving forward and to talk about several events coming up soon.
It would be great if we could get a big turnout to enable us to make plans and to see footage of the Tar Sands Tour from the Blackheath Camp for Climate Action, showing what we can do when we work together!
The Tar Sands Film Night & Action Planning Meeting will be on Thursday 28th January 2010 at 7:30 pm
At LARC (London Action Resource Centre)
62 Fieldgate Street, (corner of Parfitt Street)
Whitechapel, London, E1 1ES.
Nearest Tubes:- Whitechapel, Aldgate East & Aldgate.
Please pass this message on and post widely.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Cheers,
Steve, London Rising Tide and Jess and Sue, UK Tar Sands Network

Great you are talking about this. I'm in Delhi and I just ran a guest post by a Canadian environmental leader who is working on this issue and others. He says we need a worldwide massive people's movement to stop climate change. I think he's right.
