Good news from Aotearoa/New Zealand. Despite their Government coalition partner losing control, the Green Party(with 6.4% of the vote) has increased its tally of seats from 6 to 8, all onthe top-up list part of the ballot, and is the third-largest party in theparliament. PR was introduced there in 1996.

They must be too busy celebrating to update their website accordingly, butfor those interested in the campaign, see http://www.greens.org.nz/front

The official breakdown of the results is here: http://www.electionresults.govt.nz/partystatus.html
