Why make art that destructs its self?

Why not?

I am not quite sure that Metzger's thoughts quite hang together love his photo of 1995 Reclaim the Streets, I think it might be one of Dave Morris of Greenpeace London and McLibel fame kids on the car, or may be I just mis-remembered that.
